Human Genetics Worksheet:
This is a genetics worksheet suitable for high school and introductory college genetics. The worksheet is presented in five subsections, the different sections each on separate web pages with interconnecting links as follows:
1. Genetics: Gamete Formation
2. Genetics: Complete Dominance
3. Genetics: Incomplete Dominance
5. Mendelian Inheritance in Humans
I. Introduction
GENETICS is the study of heredity and variation. Heredity is the transmission of characters from parents to offspring, while VARIATION is the tendency of offspring to differ from their parents and each other. Inherited variation may be due to genetic recombination or mutations. Noninherited variation may be due to environmental influences such as nutrition, weather factors, crowding and pollution.
II.Gamete Formation (see link)
III. Monohybrid Cross
A. Complete Dominance(see link)
B. Incomplete Dominance(see link)
V. Mendelian Inheritance in Humans (see link)
